Are you between the ages of thirteen and twenty five, have an interest in art and are looking for a way to express yourself? The Art Gallery of Western Australia along with Propel Youth Arts Western Australia are running two youth art workshops, on several occasions this summer, just for you!
The workshops are focused on aerosol art and have the inspirational artists, George Domahidy and Poppy van Oorde-Grainger, to work with you and ensure you are proud of the art piece you create!
Local artist George Domahidy will be taking the ‘Become a street artist’ workshop and will teach spray techniques as well as assisting you in your final master piece. This workshop is available on the 17th & 12th of December 2010 both from 10am to 1pm.
The second workshop, ‘Screen print your subconscious’ will be taken by Poppy van Oorder-Grainger who will help participants to screen print their thoughts, logic and feelings onto pillowcases, bags, t-shirts etc. ‘Screen print your subconscious’ will be running on the 15th, 17th, 18th & 19th of December 2010 from 1pm to 4pm.
