First Date Cues
I’m sure you have some indication about reading her reactions based on her behaviour, but here is some advice on understanding the signals that your date is giving off.
She is inquisitive
What do you do with yourself? What consists of your family? Where do you live? Dog or cat? These are all positive signs that this date is going off to a great start and that she may possibly be imagining a future with you. However, don’t be smothered with questions, be sure to change the focus to her.
Another round?
If your date suggests ordering another round, big ticks for you! When you break it down, she trusts you enough, and herself, that getting a bit merry is not a bad idea. Most likely she is highly attracted to you but too shy to make any moves. Not for long! Tip: Just pace those drinks, no one wants merry to turn into intoxicated!
The physical contact
It’s only natural for this to happen when attraction takes place; so if you find her touching your shoulder on the way to the ladies, things are looking up! Although your aim should not be getting her into bed, you are still allowed to feel good about these signals and enjoy reciprocating them.
No watch, no phone
The absence of glances to her watch and/or mobile tells you that she is only interested in you for the rest of that day or night. This is a good sign, but be a gentleman and do the same, if you desperately need to check a text or voicemail, do it in the men’s.
Mirroring body language
This has been experimented and proven that if you are attracted to someone your body language will mirror theirs. It’s a mating ritual that takes place subconsciously, but now that you know about it try looking out for this behaviour in her.
Tip: Never cross your arms, this makes her feel as if you are putting up boundaries.
