1. Start by standing up proud and tall, feet together and chest high. Leading with the hips, drag one foot forward and place in front of the other as if walking on a straight line.
2. As you place the foot, swing that same hip out to the side and sink the hip down. Then drag the other foot through and place in front of the first one. Again sink that same hip out to the side and drop the other low.
3. Once you have mastered the legs and the hips (try this holding onto a shopping trolley for balance), add in a gentle swing with the arms. As you step your left leg forward, swing your right arm forward, gently twisting in the middle to accentuate you hourglass shape.
4. Practice walking towards a mirror to get the hip sway really happening. To bring out your inner wild woman, try sliding your hands up the sides of your body and through your hair as you’re walking and then tracing your lines back down again!
