We here at Perth Woman magazine, girls know that there is nothing better than a new baby girl.  We chat with three new dads and find out why their bundle of joy is so brilliant.

Baby Myla

1. What makes your baby brilliant?
Her ability to know what she wants and how to be cute enough to get it.

2.  What do you think your baby’s first word will be?
Mad or Dum, halfway between Dad and Mum (hehe).

3. Why is your baby’s dad brilliant?
He always knows how to get a burp out of her. 

4.  What do you do to encourage brilliance in your baby?
Giving her love and security, teaching her to be fearless.

5. Would you like your baby to follow in your footsteps (and what are those footsteps)?
Yes, it would be great if she followed in my footsteps, making films, spending time outdoors and being free, enjoying life and making money from it too. Whatever makes her happy. 

6. What is your baby’s favourite colour?
Red.

7. What does your baby respond to?
Cries when she gets moustache kisses on her face.

8. What do you think your baby will be when she grows up?
A detective, haha, well anything she wants to be.

9. What role have you played in making your baby brilliant?
Supporting her mum when she tells me it’s time to let her sleep.

10. What’s the funniest/cutest thing you have experienced your baby do?
Smile and fart at the same time.

11. Since the mums have played a big part…we are letting them have the final say…what do you think…is he telling the truth?
Hmm.... I have to say he’s pretty accurate, except personally I think her favourite colour’s black, but then again she is only six-weeks-old, so only time will tell.

Her cheeky smile.

2. What do you think your baby’s first word will be? (or what was it?)
Gem!

3. Why is your baby’s dad brilliant?
Juggles graphic design/band work and housekeeping.

4. What do you do to encourage brilliance in your baby?
Allowing her to be a baby.

5. Would you like your baby to follow in your footsteps (and what are those footsteps)?
A rock chick!

6. What is your baby’s favourite colour?
Ruby red.

7. What does your baby respond to?
Our faces.

8. What do you think your baby will be when she grows up?
I would prefer her to be in my profession but somehow think she will be making jewellery with her mum.

9. What role have you played in making your baby brilliant?
Listening to music and singing to her.

10. Whats the funniest/cutest thing you have experienced your baby do?
When she smiles and goes cross eyed.

11. Since the mums have played a big part...we are letting them have the final say...what do you think...is he telling the truth?
Yes, I think Ruby is a daddy’s girl.

1. What makes your baby brilliant?
I think she is brilliant because she thinks I am exceptionally funny. 

2. What do you think your baby’s first word will be? (or what was it?)
Hopefully daddy before mummy. I’m her favourite. 

3. Why is your baby’s dad brilliant?
He nutures her every need and in every way is very sweet with her. 

4. What do you do to encourage brilliance in your baby?
Try to find something different every day that she finds interesting. 

5. Would you like your baby to follow in your footsteps?
I hope she shares our passion for travel and new experiences.

6. What is your baby’s favourite colour?
Metallic - anything that reflects light (she’s like a magpie).

7. What does your baby respond to?
Completely silly singing and dancing, the sillier the better. 

8. What do you think your baby will be when she grows up?
Anything she dreams of. If she is always happy we believe she will be brilliant and succeed in all that she loves. 

9. What role have you played in making your baby brilliant?
We try to curb her life with balance; a little bit of everything - playing, relaxing, singing, dancing, freedom, choices, agreeing to yes and accepting no. 

10. Since the mums have played a big part…we are letting them have the final say…what do you think…is he telling the truth?
Absolutely yes, the bond they share is bright, splendid and magnificent all definitive of them together.
