For those of you who would like to recreate Mary and Gary's holiday, we have detailed their trip below. Day 1
Arrive in Hobart with help from Escape Travel and start your trip by picking up a car from AAA Car Rentals. Head over to the Henry Jones Art Hotel and appreciate the works on display in Australia's only dedicated art hotel.
Day 2
Check out the Salamanca Markets and then drive to Strahan after brekky. Have a relaxing afternoon in a private room at the Renison Cottages. For dinner, indulge in tasty seafood from the Fish Cafe on the Wharf.
Day 3
Take an exciting journey on the historical Wilderness Railway to experience the real Tasmania, go bushwalking and honey tasting. Drive out to Cradle Mountain and check in to the Cradle Mountain Chateau and relax in the spa. Enjoy dinner at the Chateau's Grey Gum Restaurant.
Day 4
Start the day by driving to Launceston and unwind in style at the elegant Grand Chancellor. The hotel is in the city centre, making the sights accessible by foot. Appreciate some French cuisine for dinner and visit LUX restaurant. You'll be left with a lasting impression!
Day 5
Begin with breakfast at the Basin Cafe and enjoy the amazing view of the Basin along with the surrounding gardens. Head down to the Cataract Gorge Chairlifts to get the full experience. After testing your bravery on the world's longest single chairlift span, get acquainted with Dr. Harry at his farm. End your day by checking in to the Freycinet Lodge and appreciate the beach views, perfect for sunset walks! Then gaze out at the water during a relaxing dinner at The Bay Restaurant.
Day 6
Drive to Port Arthur and wind down after a busy week with a cruise on the harbour. Spend your last evening in the comfort of the Stewarts Bay Lodge and end your sensational trip with dinner at Felons Bistro.
