It’s also good to know what’s best to do if you just can’t escape the dreaded lurgy and fall prey to that cold you’ve been avoiding:
• Drink water (lots of it)
• Take an Epsom Salts bath
• Reduce food intake
• Get sufficient rest
• Increase intake of vitamins A and C
• Try herbal remedies
• Avoid sugar (even natural sugar can impair the immune system. Fruit juices often contain higher levels of sugar than of vitamin C)
• Don’t forget…  Ultra balm tissues, a hot water bottle and a few good DVDs to curl up with until you feel better!
