Lani Tuckfield - Principal Consultant
Lani Tuckfield is a fully qualified Salon and Spa Therapist that also holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing and Management from Curtin University.
As a qualified Beauty, Spa and Massage Therapist, beginning as Jurlique’s first Day Spa Therapist in South Australia in 1997, Lani has owned and operated her own Salon and Day Spa in both South Australia and Western Australia.
Lani’s most successful venture as a Salon owner and operator was with her most recent Day Spa business where, in a 12 month period, turnover increased dramatically by up to 120%. This was achieved by implementing a range of strategic managerial, financial and marketing applications based on previous Salon and Spa technical experience along with skills learnt from Curtin University.
After finding a gap in the Salon and Day Spa Industry for personalised, practical and industry based marketing and management solutions Lani sold the Day Spa to establish VIP Salon Marketing in January 2007 to offer such a service. In 2008 Em Squared Consulting now offer Marketing and Management services to a wider scope of Small to medium sized businesses and enterprises along with the Salon and Spa Industry.
Lani also is a Lecturer in Business and Management at Central TAFE, Perth.
